There are cash prizes totalling £900 to be won in
our fantastic Pet Idol contest.

So if you think your pet has that something special to beat the competition, then why not put them up for the public vote?

We are asking our readers to submit photographs of their favourite hairy, furry, scaled or feathered friends. All the entries we receive will be published in a special supplement on Thursday 29th May, then we’ll ask readers to vote for their favourite.

The owner of the pet that receives the most votes will win £500.

The second place winner will collect £250 and third place will receive £150.

All entrants will be published in a supplement on 29th May 2008. Pets of employees of Cornwall & Devon Media Ltd and their immediate families are not eligible to enter. The winner will be the pet who receives the most votes from The Cornishman readers. All photographs must be colour and portrait orientation only. Images sent digitally must be 300kb or 1000 pixels minimum in JPEG, BMP or TIFF files only and named with owner’s first name, last name and pet’s name. Photographs must be original and taken not before 1st May 2007. Only one pet in each picture and no people. Whilst every care is taken, Cornwall & Devon Media Ltd claims no responsibility for photographs not printed, incorrect or misspelt names or ages. We cannot return photographs. It is a condition that pictures will be used copyright of Cornwall & Devon Media Ltd and may be used for publicity, both nationally and internationally, without restriction or payment. Cornwall & Devon Media Ltd accepts no responsibility for any damage or injury caused by competition prizes. The Editor’s decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into.
